Waqas, founder of Get HVAC Pad

Before I built Get HVAC Pad, I spent months dispatching HVAC techs from a call center. I saw the work from the other side of the phone every day.

What I kept seeing

Good techs lost money, and not because they were bad at the job. They lost it to paper:

  • Chasing paper logs
  • Misplacing signed work orders
  • Guessing their monthly profit

The skill was there. The paperwork kept getting in the way.

What I built

Get HVAC Pad is a simple app for solo techs and small teams. From your phone you can:

  • Take job photos, get the customer's signature, and send an invoice before you leave the driveway
  • Keep working with zero signal, in basements, attics and rural jobs, and everything syncs when you're back in range
  • See any job you finished but never invoiced right on your home screen, so it doesn't slip away
  • Get the customer's signature on any price or date change, so there's a clear paper trail
  • Set a weekly or monthly earnings goal and see where you stand

The rules I set for myself

Software has a reputation for surprise fees and hard-to-cancel plans, so I wrote my promises down up front:

  • One flat price: $19.99 a month, whether you're one tech or five. No per-user fees.
  • Cancel yourself: No contract and no retention call.
  • Your data stays yours: Export your customers and jobs anytime, even after you cancel.
  • A real person: If you need help, you're talking to me and not AI.

What's next

I'm building this in the open. You can see what's planned on the roadmap. If something in the app gets in your way, tell me. I'd rather hear it than guess.

If you run a one-truck operation or a small crew and paperwork is eating your evenings, give it a try. The trial is free for 14 days, and I'm at [email protected] if you want to talk.
